"Spectacular food. Fishing at the camp highly recommended! Guides very knowledgeable."
Situated in the GMA (Game Management Area), just outside the Lower Zambezi National Park, Baines River Camp is directly opposite Vundu Point (Mana Pools). Even though Baines River Camp is found within a GMA there is still a plethora of game as their is no obstruction to animals entering or leaving the GMA. The rooms are solid structures and opulent. The food is spectacular and the fishing at this camp is highly recommended. The guides are extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and environment and are always able to put clients in great viewing and photographic situations. Being on the river and able to do river activities is always a massive benefit. The staff compliment also make Baines River Camp a wonderful option with a friendly and professional ethos.

"Baines' River Camp, Lower Zambezi River, Zambia"
Wow, Wow, and Wow!!! This was our very favorite of all the amazing bushcamps we stayed at in Zambia. The people were top notch, accommodations were superb, the open air gathering area was fantastic, and the safaris were AMAZING! The cool thing about this camp is that we spent time on the water fishing for Tiger Fish and viewing animals and birds. When we went to do a safari, you take the boat to the Park then hop in the vehicle. Although it was fairly warm, being on the water was cool. The safari guides were super knowledgeable, calm, and fun!!
