13 nights - Walking Zambia 2023
This tour is specifically designed for those groups or individuals who enjoy leaving the safari vehicle and getting on an eye level with Africa’s Big Game.
Zambia is the home of the walking safari with some of Africa’s wildest safari destinations and fantastic guides who have the ability to safely approach dangerous game such as elephant and lion as well as teach our guests about smaller animals and trees, tracking and the greater circle of these fantastic ecosystems.
Guests will visit incredible destinations such as the South Luangwa National Park, with its high leopard densities, the beautiful Lower Zambezi National Park with its photographic Winterthorn forests and river based activities and finally Kafue National Park, the largest protected area in Zambia.

10 Nights Cape Town & Botswana
Known as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Cape Town is a must visit at least once in your lifetime.
Cape Town is extremely cosmopolitan with white sanded beaches, fantastic restaurants and night life, as well as wine farms, great hiking and buzzing markets. Tintswalo Atlantic is situated at the base of Chapman’s Peak Drive with views over Hout Bay from every room. Enjoy the city and all it offers or sit back and relax in your room while spotting large pods of dolphin’s frolicking in the ocean in front of you.
Botswana is a mere two and a half hours, direct flight from Cape Town. The beauty of the waterways of the Okavango Delta and Linyanti channel are magnets for Africa’s sensational wildlife. Not just a land based safari destination enjoy floating down and viewing animals on a sunset boat cruise or on a traditional dugout canoe (mokoro).
Within your accommodation at both Linyanti Tented Camp and Shinde (recently rebuilt in 2020) you can expect fantastic food and service, as well as a tremendous and wild safari experience.
LAND AND WATER – ZAMBIA AND MALAWI
This safari covers two of the premier parks in Zambia–The South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi plus Malawi’s calendar lake, Lake Malawi. The Luangwa Valley, which marks the end of the Great Rift Valley, is one of the last unspoiled wilderness areas and possibly the finest wildlife sanctuary in Africa. The Luangwa River flows into the Zambezi River–just below the Lower Zambezi National Park. This park, scenically bordered by an impressive escarpment, has excellent game, which can be viewed from either the river or by land.
Quietly drifting past a huge elephant feeding is a wonderful experience. Malawi is a landlocked country, running down the end of the Great Rift Valley. Dominated by Lake Malawi, the third largest lake in Africa, the surrounding country is exceptionally beautiful with dramatic scenery that includes rocky outcrops, high mountains, plateaus, and views across what is considered Africa’s most beautiful lake. Malawi is known as the “Warm Heart of Africa” and as a people the Malawians live up to this name. They are extremely friendly and welcoming. There are many market scenes, roadside stalls, cottage industries that a visitor can comfortably visit. With both the scenery and the culture Malawi is a great country to drive in.
11 Nights Zimbabwe 2023
Victoria Falls/Hwange/Kariba/ Mana Pools
The safari begins just outside of Zimbabwe’s famous frontier town of Victoria Falls, the base for many of Southern Africa’s safari adventures. Spend time visiting the magnificent “Mosi – oa – Tunya” or as we know it Victoria Falls – “The Smoke that Thunders”, as well as a sunset boat cruise on the Mighty Zambezi River, canoeing amongst pods of hippos or just relaxing and preparing oneself for the incredible experience that awaits.
Once one has acclimatised to the adventure at hand the next move is onto Zimbabwe’s largest national park – Hwange. Somalisa Camp is situated within its own private concession and has won numerous awards for being Zimbabwe’s best tented camp. It is best known for the high concentration of predators and prey which are attracted to the camps waterhole. Elephant and buffalo frequent this waterhole in the dry season (June to October) with huge herds of the species visiting constantly.
A short flight to Bumi Hills follows. Bumi Hills Lodge is situated on Lake Kariba, not actually a lake but a large dam with a plethora of game and water based activities to enjoy. Bumi Hills lodge has incredible views over the “lake” itself and is a great place to try your hand at a bit of tigerfishing – one of the greatest freshwater fights to experience!
Finally, and very certainly not least, your Zimbabwean safari gets to the crown of the country’s safari destinations, Mana Pools. Splendid views onto the Zambian escarpment can be seen from your camp, Nyamatusi, and incredible Albida tree forests make Mana Pools a photographer’s delight. Known for high concentration of elephants and painted dogs, the area is best explored via a mixture of game drives and walks with your professionally trained guides. Some of the continents best guides are known to come from Zimbabwe due to their rigorous and detailed training programme.
A direct flight from the Kruger International Airport will take you to Vilanculos and your final accommodation – Santorini. With a Mediterranean feel to it, Santorini offers such excursions as scuba diving, snorkelling, deep sea fishing and island hopping in the Bazaruto Archipelago, famous for its ocean diversity. Otherwise spend your days lazing around and swimming in the warm Mozambican waters.
